Kuliah Umum Pembelajaran Ramah Anak

Pembelajaran Ramah Anak. Itulah tema kuliah umum yang diangkat oleh Program Studi Magister Pengkajian Bahasa, Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta pada tanggal 30 Desember 2015 dengan menghadirkan narasumber Dr. Sri Kurnianingsih dan Dr. M. Thoyibi. Pembelajaran ramah anak adalah proses interaksi peserta didik dengan pendidik dan sumber belajar pada suatu lingkungan belajar yang menjamin, memenuhi, menghargai hak-hak anak, dan perlindungan anak dari kekerasan, diskriminasi, dan perlakuan salah lainnya serta mendukung partisipasi anak terutama dalam perencanaan, kebijakan, pembelajaran, dan mekanisme pengaduan. Ada 21 indikator pembelajaran ramah anak yang disampaikan oleh Dr. M. Thoyibi. Pembelajaran ramah adalah bagian integrative dari sekolah ramah anak. Kerangka sekolah ramah anak ditetapkan di Thailand dengan fokus pada pengarusutamaan konvensi hak anak dalam manajemen sekolah dan pembelajaran di kelas dengan lima dimensi berikut. (1) Inclusiveness. (2) Efektivitas (relevansi dan kualitas) secara akademik. (3) Kesehatan, keamanan, dan perlindungan. (4) Tanggap gender. (5) Keterlibatan siswa, keluarga dan masyarakat.

General Lecture of Child-Friendly Education

Child-Friendly Education was the general lecture which was detained by Graduate Program of Language Study, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta on December 30th 2015 that invited Dr. Sri Kurnianigsih and Dr. Mohammad Thoyibi as the keynote speakers. Child-Friendly Education is the process of interaction among students which guarantee, fulfill, appreciate the child right, and protect the children from violence. Furthermore, it defends the children from discrimination and wrong treatment. It also supports the participation of children focusing on planning, policy, teaching-learning process, and mechanism of accusation. There are 21 indicators of child-friendly education presented by Dr. Mohammad Thoyibi. Friendly education is the part of integrative process from a friendly school for children. The outline of the friendly school for children was built in Thailand focusing on the convention of child right in school management and teaching-learning process in class with the following 5 dimensions: (1) inclusiveness; (2) effectiveness of academic; (3) health, security and protection; (4) gender understanding; (5) involvement of the children, family and people.
